What are Trust Persons?
Trust Persons play a vital role in our association by offering confidential support to any member who has experienced uncomfortable situations or is in need of someone to listen. Whether you want to discuss concerns about bullying, intimidation, sexual harassment, aggression, or discrimination, our trust persons are there to help you navigate challenging circumstances and work toward solutions that will improve your situation. Their extensive training ensures that they can create a safe, non-judgmental environment for open conversations.
Apart from supporting members during difficult times, they are also happy to chat about any suggestions you might have for improving our association or simply to catch up informally. You can reach out to them at any time via email or text, or approach them during classes and activities. Below you will also find an anonymous form that you can use to bring any potential issues forward. Above all, please remember that everything you share with our trust persons is treated with the utmost confidentiality.

Gwen Westerhoff
Hi! My name is Gwen and I’m one of the Trust Persons at Let’s Dance!
Being a Trust Person means that if you have anything from a small inconvenience to bigger issues, with anyone within the association (or outside) you can talk to me about it at any time in complete confidence!
So who are you trusting? I’m 25 years old, originally from Utrecht but moved here for medicine! I’ve worked as a doctor for 1.5 years now and am currently working in children’s psychiatry. I love spending time with friends, reading, hiking and going on adventures (aside from dancing).

Sree Kotala
Hey! I’m Sree, the other Trust Person at Let’s Dance this year. I am currently a PhD candidate in robotics at Maastricht University.
As a trust person I am open myself up to hearing about any issues, concerns, complaints or suggestions you may have with or have seen happening involving the members or instructors at Let’s Dance. I am a strong believer in ‘if you see something, say something’. Having been a driving force in the team that compiled the Rules and Procedures for Sexual Safety at UM Sports, I am always open to listening to your concerns and making sure you are aware of what options are available to ensure that Let’s Dance! is a safe and healthy environment for everyone 😀 Any concerns and complaints raised always remain confidential.
Feel free to find me during or in-between any classes, contact me via email or through the contact persons form on the Let’s Dance website.
