Contemporary & Jazz Competition Team Maas Motion
Maas Motion is the Contemporary & Jazz Competition Team of M.S.D.V. Let’s Dance. Our main goal is to develop our technique and stage presence so we can bring what we learn to the competition stage.
We have one long training session each week. During practice, we learn and refine choreographies that we perform at competitions, as well as showcases like the annual Let’s Dance showcase.
We believe in working hard, but we never forget to have fun! Our team fosters a supportive, friendly atmosphere where uplifting one another comes first. We also often spend time together outside of the studio which allows us to strengthen our bonds and create lasting memories.
Join Maas Motion for the 2026/2027 Season !
Auditions to join Maas Motion will take place on 18th and 25th of October. You only need to attend one of the two audition dates. We are looking for advanced Jazz & Contemporary dancers who are ready to work-hard, compete and perform.
What to Expect
No additional preparation is needed before the audition starts. We will start with a warm up, after which we will move on to sections based on which each dancer will be judged – across the floor and execution of a short choreography prepared by us. We will be paying a lot of attention to technique, musicality and stage presence.
As our team competes in two styles – Jazz & Contemporary the auditions are going to be rather long. Therefore, it is especially important for each dancer to be on time and bring water.
After the audition
The auditions might be recorded/ pictures might be taken in order for us to make a fair and informed judgement. We will contact every participant regarding our final decision within 5 days from the later audition date.
